Working with Purkinje to give you Access to your Data
We have worked directly with Purkinje themselves to ensure that their customers have access to their data and a way to extract it from the Dossier system. We have developed a process by which all the clinical notes, images and lab results are extracted from the Dossier database and into our well documented, easy to read target database. This differs from other processes and EMR Vendors that have attempted to hack into the database - the data that they retrieve is partial or incomplete at best!
Get Access to your Medical Records!
The Dossier system was created well before government efforts like Alberta's COPD/TOPD program. Add to this the fact that the data is stored in a proprietary format and encrypted/compressed - it makes getting the data out of the Dossier database in any readable/usable format almost impossible. However, we can provide that service - and get all your clinic notes, images and labs.
This will be very important as time passes. Doctors are responsible for patient medical records for a minimum of ten years or until the patient reaches the age of majority (19). Will your hardware still be running? Will your Purkinje Dossier system still be running then? Will you still be able to access those records?
Our process ensures that the data is extracted out to a clean and simple database structure that any company could then import into their own system. As well - we provide a viewer to the extracted data - so that even if you did not want to convert the data - you could still use our program to view the data for years to come.

We are not associated with any other EMR vendor. We will work closely with your choice of EMR vendor to ensure that they are able to import the data from our database tables.
b) We get your Clinic Notes, Images and Lab data out!

c) We offer a viewer for our extracted data
When we convert your data - we not only provide you with the database so that your EMR vendor of choice can import it into their system - we provide you with a converted data viewer. This viewer will allow you to review the data and make sure it is accurate before you import it into your new system. It can also be used to view your data to meet your archiving requirements for Health Care records.
