The first column shows the various difference results that are possible: Increase, Decrease, New Directory, Removed Directory and No Difference. The second column shows the icons that are going to be used to represent the different results. The third column (Background Color) allows the user to choose a new background color for that type of result. The fourth and fifth columns allow you to set the font color and whether or not is Bold for that result type. So - you could choose to use the defaults - except for Directory Increases - where you may want the entire line colored Green to make it stand out more.
The bottom line '% Difference' allows you to override any of the above setttings (except the icons) - depending on the percentage difference. Here you can choose a special color and font that will bring those lines with a percentage change greater than the entered amount. For example in the screen capture below - it was set to show any lines in Pink that were over a 50% change - excluding New and Deleted directories.
