The email tab allows the user to setup how Disk Triage will deal with email requests

Default Send to Email Address(s)
This field allows you to enter a default address to put into any generated emails. The program will not automatically send anything to this email address - it just uses it as a default when creating emails. Very handy if you are constantly sending information to the same email address over and over.

Use your Default Mail application
This option allows you to configure Disk Triage to use the machines default MAPI email client - such as Outlook, Eurdora, Netscape, etc. If this is not checked - then the SMTP information below must be entered in order for Disk Triage to send emails.

SMTP Configuration
This is the most effective way for Disk Triage to send email - especially in Batch Mode.


Your Name
This field contains the name of the sender. This can be set to whatever you want.

Your Email Address
This field should contain the return email address. So you may want to set it to your own email address so that anyone who wants to reply to an email sent by Disk Triage will be able to get in contact with you.

Your Outgoing SMTP Server
This field should contain the address of your SMTP server- such as mail.yourcompany.com or its IP address.
