Root Node
Previous  Top  Next

The Root Node concept was introduced in Version 7.2 of Disk Triage. It facilitates the consolidated reporting feature by providing a higher node in the tree where the information from multiple scans can be talleyed.

When a scan is performed and a root node is created, the text for the node is taken from the "Root Node Title" edit box in the Basic Input screen. You can also change the text of the Root Node by double clicking on the Root Node in the Tree.

In order to maintain compatibility with older scans - the use of the root node is optional for single directory scans. You can change the default on the General tab of the the Application Preferences.
