Licensing
Disk Triage is licensed in a somewhat unique fashion. It
is licensed both by user of the software and by the number of
remote machines that it accesses. You need to purchase one
license for each user of the software - as well, you need to
have one license for each 5 remote machines that you will be
sizing. There is nothing that needs to be installed on the
remote machines - it is simply a license requirement.
There are four examples below that should help clarify the
licensing requirements. If you have any questions about

Examples:
1. Company with 5 Servers and 1 LAN Administrator
Here you would only need to purchase one (1) license. You
have it installed on one machine and it can size each of the
servers under the 5 remote machines restriction for a single
license.
2. Company with 3 Servers and 2 LAN Administrators
Here you would need to purchase two (2) licenses. You need
to have one license for each LAN administrator who is using the
program. However, as you have the ability to size 10
remote machines (due to having 2 licenses) you do not need any
additional licenses to cover remote machines.
3. Company with 20 Severs and 2 LAN Administrators
Here you would require four (4) licenses. You need one
each for the LAN administrators who are using the program -
which means two (2). However, to size the 20 servers - you
need to have 4 licenses. (20 remote machine divided by 5 remote
machines per license means you require 4 licenses. (20 / 5 = 4))
4. Company with 200 Servers and 15 LAN Administrators
Here you would require forty (40) licenses. You need one
for each of the 15 LAN administrators who are using the program
- which means (15). However, to size the 200 remote
servers you need to have 40 licenses. (200 remote machine
divided by 5 remote machines per license means you require 40
licenses. (200 / 5 = 40))
